Massive Attack founding member Robert Del Naja, known professionally as Tricky, is scheduled to perform at The Bellwether in Los Angeles on September 24, 2026. Tricky’s musical style is generally categorized as trip-hop, though it incorporates elements of dark ambient, dub, electronica, and experimental rock. Characterized by its atmospheric textures, downtempo beats, and often melancholic vocal delivery – frequently featuring both Tricky’s own rapping/spoken word and guest female vocalists – his work emerged as a significant force in the 1990s alternative music scene following the success of his debut album *Maxinquaye* (1995).

The Bellwether is a live music venue located in Los Angeles’ Echo Park neighborhood. Originally built in 1926 as a church, the building was converted into a performance space and operated for many years as The Echoplex. In 2018, it underwent renovations and reopened under the name The Bellwether with a focus on providing a more intimate concert experience. The venue maintains an art deco aesthetic reflecting its original architectural style and features a capacity of approximately 350 people.
