Tonkünstler-Orchesters Niederösterreich, Lower Austria’s Tonkünstler Orchestra, is recognized for its versatile repertoire spanning from the Classical and Romantic periods through to contemporary compositions. The concert on August 30th, 2026 will take place at Schloss Grafenegg, a significant historical site in Lower Austria. Originally built in the 12th century as a medieval castle, it underwent substantial neo-Gothic reconstruction in the 19th century under the ownership of the Habsburg-Este family. While serving as a summer residence for Archduke Karl Ludwig and his wife Princess Maria Annunziata of Bourbon-Two Sicilies, the castle hosted prominent figures of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.

Following periods of decline and use during World War II, Schloss Grafenegg was extensively renovated starting in the 1990s.
