Tom Gaebel is a German composer, arranger, and pianist known for his distinctive blend of jazz, lounge, and electronic music, often described as “Nu Jazz” or “Electro Swing.” His compositions frequently feature sophisticated arrangements, cinematic soundscapes, and a retro aesthetic drawing influence from 1960s spy film soundtracks and library music. He leads the Tom Gaebel Trio and has also collaborated extensively with other artists across genres.

The venue for the concert, Neue Gebläsehalle Neunkirchen, is a former blast furnace hall located in Neunkirchen, Saarland, Germany. Originally part of the Neunkirchen Steelworks (Hüttengwerke Neunkirchen), it was constructed in 1912 and represents a significant example of early 20th-century industrial architecture. Following the closure of the steelworks in the 1970s, the hall underwent extensive renovation to transform it into a multi-purpose event space.

Today, Neue Gebläsehalle Neunkirchen hosts a diverse range of events including concerts, exhibitions, trade fairs and corporate functions.
