Tlalok is scheduled to perform at Zocalo Food Park in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on August 22, 2026. The musical group blends traditional Mexican instrumentation – often featuring pre-Hispanic flutes and percussion – with contemporary electronic music elements, creating a sound described as “ancestral future” or “ethnotronic.” Their compositions frequently incorporate field recordings and explore themes of indigenous cosmology and cultural preservation.

Zocalo Food Park, located in Milwaukee’s Walker’s Point neighborhood, opened in 2018. It operates as a year-round, outdoor venue centered around a rotating selection of food trucks and a communal seating area. The park aims to foster a community atmosphere and showcase diverse culinary offerings. Beyond food vendors, Zocalo regularly hosts live music events, art installations, and community gatherings.
