Tlalok is scheduled to perform at The Gig in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on September 23, 2026. Tlalok’s musical style blends elements of progressive rock, psychedelic soundscapes, and traditional Mexican instrumentation, often incorporating pre-Hispanic lyrical themes and mythology. Their compositions are characterized by complex arrangements, extended instrumental passages, and vocalist Xochitl’s distinctive vocal delivery which frequently utilizes Nahuatl phrases. The band formed in Mexico City in 2018 and has since released three studio albums: *Quinto Sol* (2020), *Atmósfera Ancestral* (2022), and *Renacimiento* (2024).

The Gig is a long-standing independent music venue located in Milwaukee’s Riverwest neighborhood. Originally established in 1995 as a space for local and touring alternative acts, it has become known for its intimate atmosphere and focus on showcasing diverse genres including indie rock, punk, experimental music, and world music. The venue has a capacity of approximately 250 people and features a dedicated stage area alongside a full bar.
