Tlalok is scheduled to perform at the Pomeroy in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on September 30, 2026. Tlalok’s musical style blends elements of progressive rock, jazz fusion, and traditional Mexican instrumentation, often incorporating complex rhythmic structures and extended instrumental passages. Their compositions frequently explore themes relating to mythology and nature, particularly those associated with the Aztec rain god Tlaloc – from whom the band derives its name.

The Pomeroy, located in Milwaukee’s Third Ward, originally opened as a vaudeville theater in 1908, known then as the Bijou Dream. Over its history, it operated under various names including the Gayety Theatre and the Star Theatre, hosting a diverse range of performances including burlesque shows and film screenings. In recent decades it underwent significant renovation and now functions primarily as an event space focused on live music and performing arts. The venue is recognized for its intimate atmosphere and restored architectural details reflecting its early 20th-century origins. It maintains a capacity of approximately 350 standing or 250 seated attendees. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
