TILAR, a Vienna-based artist, will be performing at B72 on April 23, 2027. TILAR’s music blends electronic soundscapes with elements of classical composition and ambient textures, often incorporating field recordings and processed vocals to create immersive and emotionally resonant experiences. Her work frequently explores themes of memory, nature, and the interplay between organic and synthetic sounds. She has released several EPs and albums on independent labels, gaining recognition within experimental electronic music circles.

B72 is a cultural venue located in Vienna’s 7th district, known for its industrial aesthetic and focus on showcasing avant-garde and experimental art forms. Originally a transformer station for the city’s tram network, constructed in the early 20th century, it was repurposed as a space for artistic expression in the 1970s. Throughout its history, B72 has hosted performances across disciplines including music (spanning noise, electronic, jazz & contemporary), visual arts, performance art and theatre. The venue is characterized by its raw architectural features – exposed concrete walls & high ceilings – contributing to its unique atmosphere. It operates as a non-profit organization committed to supporting emerging artists & fostering interdisciplinary collaboration.
