Its acoustics were carefully engineered by Artec Consultants Inc., aiming for both volume and clarity suitable for a variety of performances including orchestral concerts, opera, and large choral works. Eldborg frequently hosts international artists and is considered a landmark building in Reykjavik’s cityscape due to its architectural significance and contribution to Iceland’s cultural landscape. The hall features adjustable acoustics allowing it to be tailored to different performance types.
