The Wooten Brothers are scheduled to perform at the Royal Oak Music Theater in Royal Oak, Michigan on November 16, 2026. The Wooten Brothers are recognized for their highly innovative and virtuosic blend of instrumental music, drawing heavily from jazz, funk, bluegrass, and rock influences. Their performances are characterized by complex arrangements, improvisational interplay between the five siblings – Roy, Gregg, Reggie, Rudy, and Joseph – and a dynamic stage presence. They are known for utilizing a variety of instruments including guitars, bass, drums, keyboards and vocals.

Royal Oak Music Theater originally opened as a Vaudeville house in 1927 named the Redford Theatre. It underwent several transformations over the decades including operating as a movie theater and a roller rink before being renovated and reopened as a live music venue in 1996. The theater has a capacity of approximately 1,600 standing or 800 seated and is known for its intimate atmosphere and excellent acoustics. It regularly hosts national touring acts across various genres and has become a significant part of the Detroit-area music scene. The building retains much of its original Art Deco architectural detailing.
