The Quilcene Lantern is a historic community hall located in Quilcene, a small town on the Olympic Peninsula. Originally built in 1938 as a Works Progress Administration (WPA) project during the Great Depression, it served as a gymnasium and community gathering space for local residents. Over time it transitioned into a venue hosting diverse events including dances, meetings, and performances. The building retains much of its original architectural character and is known for its intimate atmosphere and wooden sprung dance floor. It continues to function as a vital cultural hub for the Quilcene area and surrounding communities. It is operated by the Quilcene Community Development Association.
