The Swingles will be performing at Wilton’s Music Hall in London on November 13, 2026. The Swingles are a vocal ensemble internationally recognised for their a cappella arrangements and performances spanning jazz, classical, and pop music. Originating as the Swingle Singers in Paris in 1963, they initially gained prominence with their jazz interpretations of Baroque music, notably Bach’s works. Throughout their history, the group has undergone personnel changes but maintained a commitment to innovative vocal harmony and improvisation. Their repertoire now encompasses a diverse range of contemporary compositions alongside their signature arrangements.

Wilton’s Music Hall is acknowledged as the oldest grand music hall in the world, having first opened in 1858. Originally built as a public hall for entertainments catering to the East End of London, it operated continuously as a music hall until 1956. Following a period of disuse and near-demolition, it was rescued by a local campaign and underwent extensive restoration. The building retains many original features including its Victorian architecture and unique atmosphere created by its relatively intimate size and distinctive acoustics.
