Experience The Swingles live on December 17th
The Swingles will be performing at The Trust Performing Arts Center in Lancaster, Pennsylvania on December 17, 2026. The Swingles are a vocal ensemble internationally recognized for their a cappella arrangements and performances spanning multiple genres. Originally formed in Paris in the 1960s as Les Swingle Singers, the group gained prominence interpreting jazz arrangements of Baroque music, notably Bach’s *Well-Tempered Clavier*. Over their history, they have evolved to incorporate influences from classical, pop, and contemporary music, maintaining a focus on complex harmonies and vocal dexterity. The current lineup continues this tradition of innovative vocal performance.
The Trust Performing Arts Center occupies the historic Fulton Theatre building in downtown Lancaster. Originally built in 1852, the Fulton Theatre is one of the oldest continuously operating theaters in America and was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1966. A significant renovation completed in 2016 modernized the facility while preserving its ornate Victorian architecture. The Trust operates both the Fulton Theatre – focusing on large-scale theatrical productions – and the Tellus360 venue, offering a more intimate performance space. The center aims to provide diverse arts experiences for the Lancaster community and beyond.
