The building itself dates back to 1935 and underwent significant renovation in 2023 to house several businesses including the venue. The Brass Peacock focuses on showcasing emerging artists across various genres with an emphasis on alternative and independent music. It’s known for its intimate setting and art deco inspired interior design which incorporates original architectural features of the former post office. The space typically hosts events with a capacity of approximately 150-200 attendees.
