The Only Arena, a musical project spearheaded by multi-instrumentalist and producer Jack Colwell, will be performing at Low 302 in Surry Hills, New South Wales, Australia on July 17th, 2026. The Only Arena’s music is generally categorized as experimental electronic, often incorporating elements of ambient, post-punk, and IDM (Intelligent Dance Music). Colwell’s work frequently features heavily processed samples, atmospheric textures and a focus on sound design alongside melodic structures. He has released music through labels including Chaptermusic and Flexible Music.

Low 302 is a long-standing independent venue located in a converted warehouse space in Surry Hills. Established in 1994, it has become known for its intimate setting and dedication to showcasing alternative and experimental music across various genres including electronic, noise, improvisation and avant-garde performance art. The venue operates as a non-for-profit artist run initiative with a strong focus on supporting emerging and established artists working outside of mainstream commercial circuits. It maintains a deliberately raw aesthetic and is recognised for its high quality sound system despite its small capacity – typically around 100 patrons.
