The Milk Carton Kids will perform at the Barbican Centre in London on January 14, 2027. The duo, Kenneth Pattengale and Joey Ryan, are known for their intricately woven vocal harmonies and primarily acoustic guitar-based music. Their style often falls within the Americana, folk, and indie folk genres, characterized by sparse arrangements and lyrical depth exploring themes of life, loss, and relationships. They gained prominence through extensive touring and self-releasing music before signing with Merge Records.

The Barbican Centre is a renowned arts and learning centre located in the City of London. Opened in 1982, it is a Grade II listed building and a significant example of brutalist architecture. It houses a concert hall consistently ranked among the world’s best for acoustics, a theatre, several cinemas, art galleries, libraries, and conference facilities.
