St.-Bartholomäus-Kirche is a North German Brick Gothic church dating primarily from the 13th and 14th centuries. Notable features include its fieldstone construction and the prominent tower which dominates the Wesselburen skyline. The interior houses a well-preserved Baroque altar and pulpit dating from the 17th century. The church has undergone several restorations over the centuries to maintain its structural integrity and historical significance within the region of Dithmarschen.
