The King’s Singers, a British vocal ensemble, will perform at St.-Bartholomäus-Kirche in Wesselburen, Germany on July 21, 2026. The group is internationally renowned for its a cappella arrangements and performances spanning numerous genres, including Renaissance polyphony, jazz standards, and popular contemporary music. Founded in 1968 during their time at King's College, Cambridge, they are known for their precise vocal blend, sophisticated harmonies, and engaging stage presence. Throughout their career they have commissioned over 400 new works from composers globally.

St.-Bartholomäus-Kirche is a North German Brick Gothic church dating primarily from the 13th and 14th centuries. Originally built as a Romanesque church, it underwent significant alterations in the Gothic style. Notable features include its fieldstone construction and the prominent tower which dominates the Wesselburen skyline. The interior houses a well-preserved Baroque altar and pulpit dating from the 17th century. The church has undergone several restorations over the centuries to maintain its structural integrity and historical significance within the region of Dithmarschen.
