Experience The King's Singers live on July 11th

The King’s Singers, a British vocal ensemble, will perform at the Carleton Dominion-Chalmers Centre in Ottawa on July 11, 2026. The group is renowned for its a cappella performance style, encompassing arrangements and compositions across numerous genres including Renaissance polyphony, jazz standards, pop music and original works. Formed in 1968 during their time as students at King’s College, Cambridge, they are known for their polished presentation, vocal blend and extensive touring schedule. Throughout their history, the group has undergone member changes while maintaining its commitment to vocal excellence and diverse repertoire.

The Carleton Dominion-Chalmers Centre is a prominent landmark in Ottawa, originally constructed as a Presbyterian church. Completed in 1962 through the merger of Carleton Methodist Church and Dominion Presbyterian Church, the building exhibits mid-century modern architectural features. It is recognized for its distinctive spire and interior acoustics which have made it a popular venue for concerts and other performing arts events. The building was designated a heritage site by the City of Ottawa in 2005 due to its architectural and historical significance within the community. It continues to function as a United Church of Canada congregation alongside hosting public events.
