Following Miller’s disappearance in 1944 during World War II, the orchestra was reformed and continues to tour internationally, maintaining the original instrumentation and repertoire.

Originally constructed in 1912-1913 as a civic hall ("Bürgersaal"), it underwent extensive renovations and modernization between 2017 and 2019.
