Opened in 1994, it serves as a significant cultural hub for the region, hosting concerts, trade fairs, congresses, and other large-scale events. The hall’s architecture features a distinctive wave-shaped roof and offers flexible space configurations accommodating audiences up to approximately 2,500 people depending on the event setup. It's situated near the Porta Nigra, a prominent Roman landmark in Trier. The hall underwent renovations in 2018 to modernize facilities and improve accessibility.
