Sven Hammond is a Dutch instrumental band known for their distinctive blend of jazz, funk, soul, and Hammond organ-driven grooves. Formed in the 1990s, the group has cultivated a reputation for energetic live performances and a sound heavily influenced by classic American instrumental music, particularly the work of Jimmy Smith and Booker T. & the M.G.’s. Their music frequently incorporates improvisation while maintaining strong melodic structures.

The Kersouwe is a cultural centre located in Heeswijk-Dinther, Netherlands, housed within a former farm complex dating back to the 17th century. Originally a working farm, the building was renovated in the late 20th century to serve as a venue for concerts, theatre performances, exhibitions and other cultural events. It’s known for its intimate atmosphere and rustic charm, retaining many original architectural features alongside modern facilities. The venue regularly hosts both established and emerging artists across various genres. Its capacity is approximately 300-400 people depending on event setup. The Kersouwe actively supports regional arts and culture initiatives within the Meierij region of North Brabant.
