Super Panela, a Colombian band, will perform at Espace Roguet in Toulouse, France on September 17, 2026. The group’s music blends traditional Colombian *currulao* rhythms – originating from the Pacific coast – with elements of cumbia, salsa, and psychedelic rock. Their performances are known for energetic instrumentation featuring the *marimba de chonta*, traditional percussion, and brass sections alongside electric guitars and bass. Super Panela formed in Cali, Colombia in 2014 and have gained international recognition for revitalizing Afro-Colombian musical traditions while incorporating contemporary sounds.

Espace Roguet is a cultural venue located in the Mirail district of Toulouse. Originally constructed as a gymnasium in the 1970s as part of the university campus expansion, it was repurposed as a performance space in the late 1980s. The venue is managed by the city of Toulouse and hosts a diverse program including theatre, dance, concerts and circus performances. It is characterized by its flexible space accommodating various stage setups and audience configurations. Espace Roguet regularly features both established artists and emerging talent across multiple disciplines, serving as an important hub for local arts and culture.
