Stone Foundation will perform at ARC, Stockton-on-Tees on October 3rd, 2026. The band is recognised for their distinctive blend of neo-soul, jazz, funk and classic British mod influences, often drawing comparisons to artists like The Style Council and early Stax Records recordings. Formed in Rugby in the late 1980s, Stone Foundation initially disbanded before reforming in the early 2000s and experiencing a resurgence in popularity with critically acclaimed albums and extensive touring.

ARC (Artistic Resource Centre) is a multi-arts venue located in Stockton-on-Tees, established in 1992. Originally conceived as a dedicated space for contemporary dance, it has evolved into a broad-ranging arts centre offering theatre, music, visual arts, film and community engagement programmes. The building itself occupies a former shipbuilding workshop on the north bank of the River Tees and is noted for its industrial aesthetic alongside modern architectural additions. ARC functions as both a presenting venue – hosting visiting companies and artists – and a creating venue supporting local artistic development through studio spaces and residencies. It receives regular funding from Arts Council England and Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council.
