Gordon Matthew Thomas Sumner, known professionally as Sting, will be performing at The Truth Music Hall in Nashville, Tennessee on October 19, 2026. Sting’s musical style broadly encompasses soft rock, jazz fusion, and new wave, evolving from his prominent role as the frontman and principal songwriter for The Police in the late 1970s and early 1980s. His solo work demonstrates lyrical sophistication and incorporates influences from reggae, classical music, and world music traditions. Throughout his career he has released five Grammy Award-winning albums and received a Kennedy Center Honor.

The Truth Music Hall, located in downtown Nashville, opened in 2017. Originally built in 1888 as the Merchants Hotel, the building underwent significant renovations to transform it into a live music venue while preserving its historic architectural features. It's known for its intimate setting and focus on showcasing diverse musical genres beyond Nashville’s traditional country music scene; frequently hosting alternative rock, indie, electronic and hip-hop performances. The venue has a capacity of approximately 650 attendees and features a multi-level layout with both standing room and seated options. It is operated by Live Nation Entertainment.
