State Champs will be performing at The Tabernacle in Atlanta, Georgia on December 4th, 2026. The band is a pop punk group originating from Albany, New York, known for energetic performances and melodic songwriting. Their music blends elements of classic pop punk with more contemporary production styles, often featuring catchy choruses and relatable lyrical themes centered around youth, relationships, and self-discovery. They initially gained prominence in the early 2010s with releases like *The Finer Things* and have continued to tour and release albums consistently since.

The Tabernacle itself has a rich history. Originally constructed in 1875 as a Baptist church, it served that purpose for nearly a century before falling into disuse and eventual near-demolition in the 1990s. It was subsequently purchased and renovated by Steve Poulos in 1998, reopening as a live music venue. The building retains much of its original architectural detail, including stained glass windows and ornate ceilings, creating a unique atmosphere for concerts. It’s known for its excellent acoustics and relatively intimate capacity of approximately 2,600 people, making it a popular destination for both established and emerging artists.
