Empire Live is a multi-level music venue located in downtown Albany. Originally constructed in 1928 as the Palace Theatre, it underwent significant renovations and rebranding in 2017 to become Empire Live. The building retains much of its original Art Deco architecture and features both a large indoor concert hall and an outdoor performance space known as the Empire State Plaza Classic. It frequently hosts nationally touring acts across various genres, including rock, indie, country, and electronic music. The venue’s capacity varies depending on the configuration but generally accommodates between 750-1200 attendees for indoor shows. It’s owned by AEG Presents – Northeast, a division of the global entertainment company AEG.
