SPACED live in Buffalo

Experience SPACED live on October 14th

Spaced, a musical project spearheaded by composer and producer Alex Maas, is scheduled to perform at Electric City in Buffalo, New York on October 14, 2026. Spaced’s sound blends elements of psychedelic rock, electronic music, and ambient textures, often incorporating vintage synthesizers and expansive soundscapes. Maas is also known for his work with the band Black Angels.

Electric City is a relatively new performance venue located in Buffalo’s Allentown neighborhood. Originally constructed in 1928 as a powerhouse for the city's streetcar system, the building served as a crucial component of Buffalo’s public transportation infrastructure for several decades. Following the decline of the streetcar system, the building underwent periods of disuse before being reimagined as an event space. Recent renovations have focused on preserving the industrial aesthetic of the original structure while adapting it for live performances and other events. The venue is known for its high ceilings, exposed brickwork and capacity for both intimate and larger-scale shows. It has quickly become a focal point within Buffalo’s evolving music scene since opening in 2023.
