Söndörgő, a Hungarian folk music band, will perform at the Kursaal in Bad Säckingen, Germany on September 23, 2026. The ensemble is known for its energetic and innovative interpretations of traditional Hungarian village music, blending elements of Balkan brass band sounds with cimbalom, violin, clarinet, bass guitar and percussion. Their performances often feature complex rhythms and improvisational interplay between musicians. Söndörgő has been active since 1988, gaining international recognition for revitalizing and expanding the scope of Hungarian folk traditions.

The Kursaal Bad Säckingen is a historically significant venue located in the town of Bad Säckingen, Baden-Württemberg. Originally constructed in 1902-1903 based on plans by architect Wilhelm Müller, it served primarily as a spa and concert hall during the height of Bad Säckingen’s popularity as a spa town. The building’s architecture reflects the Art Nouveau style prevalent at the time. Following periods of disuse and renovation, the Kursaal was extensively modernized between 2017-2019 while preserving its historical character.
