SML (Sydney Sprague, formerly known as Syd Matters) is scheduled to perform at the Teragram Ballroom in Los Angeles, California on June 27, 2026. SML’s music generally falls within the dream pop and indie rock genres, characterized by atmospheric textures, layered instrumentation, and Sprague’s distinctive vocals. Her songwriting often explores themes of introspection and emotional vulnerability. Following a hiatus from performing under the Syd Matters moniker, Sprague relaunched her musical project as SML in 2019 with a shift towards more personal and electronically-influenced soundscapes.

The Teragram Ballroom is a mid-sized concert venue located in the West Adams neighborhood of Los Angeles. Opened in 2014, it has quickly become a popular spot for both established and emerging artists across various genres including indie rock, electronic, hip-hop, and Latin music. The venue is known for its intimate setting and relatively flat general admission floor, fostering close interaction between performers and audiences. It’s built within a former exhibition space and retains some of that industrial aesthetic. The Teragram Ballroom regularly hosts shows several times per week and has a capacity of approximately 650 people.
