Classical Concerts in Paris

Experience Simon-Pierre Bestion live on September 26th

Simon-Pierre Bestion will present a concert at the Philharmonie de Paris on September 26, 2026. Bestion is a French composer and sound artist whose work frequently explores the intersection of acoustic instruments, electronic processing, and spatialization techniques. His compositions often involve extended instrumental techniques and a focus on timbre, creating immersive and subtly shifting sonic environments. He frequently collaborates with visual artists and performers, integrating his music into multidisciplinary projects.

The Philharmonie de Paris, inaugurated in January 2015, is a major concert venue located in the Parc de la Villette in the 19th arrondissement of Paris. Designed by architect Jean Nouvel, it is home to three concert halls: the Grande Salle Pierre Boulez (with a capacity of approximately 2,400 seats), the Salle des Diapasons (a more intimate chamber music hall), and the Studio. The complex also houses exhibition spaces, educational facilities, and a restaurant. It replaced the former Palais des Congrès as the primary venue for classical music in Paris and is operated by the Cité de la Musique – Philharmonie de Paris, a cultural establishment under the supervision of the French Ministry of Culture.
