Shabaka, a British jazz saxophonist and composer, will be performing at Epic Studios in Norwich on November 11th, 2026. His musical style is often described as blending spiritual jazz with elements of Afrobeat, electronic music, and classical composition. He is known for his work with groups such as Sons of Kemet, The Comet Is Coming, and Shabaka Hutchings Quintet, frequently exploring themes of identity, spirituality and the African diaspora within his improvisational performances.

Epic Studios is a multi-purpose venue located in Norwich, UK, established in 2018. Originally conceived as a complex housing a cinema, live music venue and creative workspace, it quickly became a prominent location for both local and nationally touring artists. The venue features two primary spaces: Epic Cinema which showcases independent and mainstream films; and Epic Live which hosts live music performances across various genres including rock, indie, electronic and jazz. It’s known for its focus on supporting emerging talent alongside established acts and offers a relatively intimate setting for performances compared to larger arena venues within the region.
