Sextile is scheduled to perform at Exposition Park in Los Angeles on August 15, 2026. The band is generally categorized as post-punk and industrial rock, characterized by abrasive textures, driving rhythms, and often incorporating elements of noise and electronic music. Formed in 2018, Sextile has gained recognition within underground music scenes for their energetic live performances and distinct sonic aesthetic.

Exposition Park itself holds significant historical and cultural importance for Los Angeles. Established in 1893, it was originally conceived as a space for agricultural fairs and exhibitions – hosting the first such event that year. Over time, it evolved into a multi-faceted urban park encompassing museums, gardens, sporting venues, and educational institutions. Notably, it is home to the California Science Center, the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, and the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.

The Coliseum, a landmark structure within Exposition Park completed in 1923, has hosted numerous major events including two Olympic Games (1932 & 1984) and will again in 2028.
