Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox will perform at the Lexington Opera House in Lexington, Kentucky on October 6, 2026. The ensemble is known for reimagining popular modern songs in vintage styles, primarily those of the 1920s-1950s. This includes genres like jazz, blues, ragtime, and swing, often featuring arrangements that highlight vocal harmonies and instrumental improvisation. The group gained prominence through YouTube, initially launching in 2011 with Bradlee arranging and performing covers from his New York City apartment.

The Lexington Opera House originally opened in 1886 as the Grand Opera House. Throughout its history, it has served as a venue for various performances including vaudeville acts, operas, theatrical productions and concerts. Significant renovations occurred in 1978 after a period of decline and subsequent closures. Further restoration work was completed in 2006 enhancing its acoustics and restoring many of its original architectural details. The venue is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and remains a central cultural landmark within Lexington’s downtown area, currently operated by Lexington Center Corporation. It boasts a seating capacity of approximately 938 individuals.
