Saron Crenshaw will perform at Kulturwerk am See in Norderstedt, Germany on June 12, 2027. Crenshaw is a contemporary jazz and soul vocalist and composer, often incorporating elements of spoken word and experimental soundscapes into her work. Her music is characterized by intricate vocal arrangements, lyrical themes exploring identity and societal observations, and a blend of acoustic instrumentation with electronic production. She released her debut album “Looking for Sunday” in 2023 to critical acclaim and has since toured internationally.

Kulturwerk am See is a cultural center located on the shores of Lake Rieksee in Norderstedt, Schleswig-Holstein. Originally built in 1971 as a factory for the company Atlas Elektronik, it was repurposed in the late 1990s to become a venue for concerts, exhibitions, theatre performances and other cultural events. The building’s industrial architecture is a defining feature, offering a unique atmosphere for performances. It hosts a diverse program of national and international artists across multiple genres. The venue comprises several spaces including a main hall with seating for approximately 400 people, alongside smaller gallery and workshop areas.
