Sam Grisman Project will perform at The Sheldon Concert Hall and Art Galleries in St. Louis, Missouri on November 15, 2026. The Sam Grisman Project blends progressive bluegrass, jazz, and folk influences, often featuring intricate instrumental work and a contemporary approach to traditional American roots music. Led by mandolinist Sam Grisman – son of legendary Dawggrass pioneer David Grisman – the project showcases original compositions alongside reimagined standards.

The Sheldon Concert Hall and Art Galleries opened in 2003 following extensive renovation of a former Masonic Temple built in 1904. The building itself is a significant example of Beaux-Arts architecture. The hall is renowned for its exceptional acoustics, achieved through careful design and the use of an adjustable acoustic shell. It’s designed to accommodate a variety of performances including orchestral concerts, jazz ensembles, and solo recitals. Beyond musical performances, The Sheldon also houses rotating art exhibitions within its gallery spaces, focusing on both regional and national artists. The venue operates as a non-profit organization dedicated to providing accessible arts programming to the St. Louis community.
