sadie is a Scottish singer-songwriter creating music often described as dream pop with elements of indie and shoegaze. Her work features layered vocals, atmospheric instrumentation, and introspective lyricism, drawing comparisons to artists like Cocteau Twins and Mazzy Star. She released her debut EP, *under skins*, in 2023 to critical acclaim within the independent music scene, followed by further singles in 2024.

The Hug and Pint is a well-known venue located on Great Western Road in Glasgow’s West End. Originally established as a Polish cafe and grocery store in the early 20th century – “Hug & Pint” being a literal translation of the Polish phrase “hug i piwo” – it transitioned into a music venue in 2006. It’s particularly recognised for its intimate setting and focus on showcasing emerging and alternative musical talent.

The space is relatively small, holding approximately 120 people, fostering a close connection between performers and audience members.
