The Muse Brecon is a performance venue located in the market town of Brecon, Powys, Wales. Housed within a converted chapel, the building originally opened for worship in 1878 as Seion Chapel. Following a period of disuse, it underwent significant renovation to become a dedicated arts and music space, opening as The Muse in 2016. The venue is known for its intimate atmosphere and commitment to showcasing a diverse range of musical genres, including folk, jazz, and blues. It features a main auditorium with tiered seating and a smaller studio space used for workshops and smaller-scale events. The building retains many original architectural features from its chapel origins, contributing to its unique character. The venue actively supports both established and emerging artists.
