Experience Rudolf Buchbinder live on October 31st

Rudolf Buchbinder, a renowned Austrian pianist celebrated for his interpretations of Beethoven, will perform at the Carmen-Würth-Forum in Künzelsau, Germany on October 31, 2026. Buchbinder’s playing is characterized by a deeply intellectual approach, combining technical precision with a profound emotional depth. He is particularly known for his complete Beethoven sonata cycles and his commitment to historically informed performance practice, though not strictly adhering to it, instead prioritizing musicality and clarity. His repertoire extends beyond Beethoven to include Mozart, Schubert, Brahms, and others.

The Carmen-Würth-Forum itself opened in 2012 and serves as a cultural center for the region of Hohenlohe. Designed by architects Volker Giencke & Partner, the venue houses a concert hall with a capacity of approximately 600 seats, specifically designed for chamber music and song recitals as well as smaller orchestral performances. It’s part of the larger Carmen-Würth cultural complex founded by Reinhold Würth, which also includes an art gallery and event spaces. The forum frequently hosts internationally acclaimed musicians across various genres and aims to promote cultural engagement within the community.
