The Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra will perform at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam on June 23, 2026. The Concertgebouw itself opened in 1888 and is consistently ranked among the world’s finest concert halls. The hall was designed by Pieter Cuypers, also known for Amsterdam Central Station and the Rijksmuseum. Throughout its history, the Concertgebouw has been intrinsically linked with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra; the orchestra has resided there since its founding in 1888 and performs the majority of its concerts within the hall. The building underwent significant renovations between 2020-2023 to modernize facilities while preserving its acoustic properties and historical character.
