Roomful of Blues is scheduled to perform at Ninigret Park in Charlestown, Rhode Island on September 6, 2026. Formed in 1969, Roomful of Blues has a long history of showcasing both established and emerging blues talent; several musicians who gained prominence later in their careers began with this group. Ninigret Park is a large, multi-use public park operated by the Charlestown Parks & Recreation Department. Established in 1964 through a donation of land from the Ninigret Conservation Area Trust, it spans over 237 acres. The park features various recreational facilities including ball fields, walking trails, picnic areas and a large outdoor concert venue often utilized for summer events. It’s situated near Ninigret Pond, a significant coastal lagoon known for its biodiversity and historical importance to the Narragansett people. The park regularly hosts community events and concerts drawing regional audiences.
