Roomful of Blues is scheduled to perform at the Herreshoff Marine Museum in Bristol, Rhode Island on September 3, 2026. The band is recognized for its high-energy performances rooted in blues, jump blues, and R&B traditions. Established in 1969, Roomful of Blues has undergone several iterations, consistently maintaining a strong horn section and a commitment to a swinging, danceable sound. Throughout their history, they’ve blended traditional blues structures with influences from swing and soul music.

The Herreshoff Marine Museum & Center for Maritime Studies occupies the historic grounds of the Herreshoff Manufacturing Company, once the world’s leading builder of sailing yachts and steam yachts. Founded in 1878 by Nathaniel G. Herreshoff and his brother John B. Herreshoff, the company produced over 300 documented yacht designs and played a significant role in the development of America’s Cup vessels. The museum preserves this legacy through exhibits showcasing shipbuilding tools, yacht designs, and artifacts related to the Herreshoff family's contributions to maritime history. The museum grounds include several original buildings from the manufacturing complex and waterfront access on Narragansett Bay.
