Originally built in 1924 to serve the local coal mining community, it underwent significant refurbishment in 2018, modernizing facilities while retaining many of its original architectural features. The hall functions as a multi-purpose space hosting a variety of events including social gatherings, performances, and community activities. It is managed by a committee of local volunteers dedicated to providing a venue for residents and visitors alike. The hall's capacity is approximately 150 people seated. It remains an important focal point for social life within Taff's Well.
