The Monument is a relatively new outdoor amphitheater located in Rapid City. Opened in 2023, it was designed to address the need for a larger venue capable of hosting national touring acts in the Black Hills region. The venue boasts a capacity of approximately 15,000 and is positioned with views of the surrounding landscape. It aims to provide an enhanced concert experience with improved sound and accessibility compared to previous local options. The site was previously undeveloped land before being transformed into a dedicated entertainment space by the City of Rapid City and its partners.
