Experience Robert Plant live on September 19th
Robert Plant, renowned as the former lead singer of Led Zeppelin and a successful solo artist, will perform at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts in Kansas City, Missouri on September 19, 2026. Plant’s musical style blends elements of hard rock, blues, folk, and world music influences. Throughout his career, he has consistently explored diverse sonic landscapes, moving beyond the heavy blues-rock foundation of Led Zeppelin to incorporate acoustic arrangements and explorations of various cultural musical traditions.
The Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts opened in September 2011 and serves as a major cultural hub for Kansas City and the surrounding region. Designed by Moshe Safdie, the Center features two distinct performance venues: Muriel Kauffman Theatre, a 1,800-seat opera house known for its acoustics and architectural design; and the Kauffman Theatre, a more intimate 1,300-seat space suited for ballet, chamber music and other performances. The complex aims to provide a world-class venue for a broad spectrum of performing arts disciplines. It is located in the Performing Arts District near downtown Kansas City. The building's distinctive glass architecture is a recognizable landmark within the city skyline.
