Rhiannon Giddens is a highly acclaimed American musician celebrated for her expansive exploration of American roots music. De Roma is a historic concert hall located in Antwerp, Belgium. Originally constructed in 1928 as a cinema showcasing silent films – hence its name meaning “The Rome” referencing Italian neorealist cinema – it underwent significant renovations in the 1980s transforming it into a prominent venue for live music. The building retains much of its Art Deco architectural detailing, including ornate plasterwork and a distinctive façade. It's known for its intimate atmosphere and excellent acoustics, hosting a diverse range of international artists across various musical styles. The venue has a capacity of approximately 750 standing or 600 seated attendees.
