Formed in 1996, Quadro Nuevo features a unique instrumentation combining piano, bandoneon, double bass, and drums, creating a sound that is both sophisticated and accessible. Their compositions often incorporate elements of classical music alongside traditional tango rhythms and improvisational jazz techniques.

The Pfalztheater Kaiserslautern holds a significant place in the cultural landscape of the region. Originally constructed in 1913, it serves as a multi-disciplinary venue hosting opera, ballet, drama, concerts and children’s programs. The building itself underwent extensive renovations following damage during World War II, reopening in 1948. Further modernization occurred between 2000 and 2003 to enhance its technical capabilities and audience comfort. It is considered an important architectural landmark within Kaiserslautern and functions as the primary theatre for the Palatinate region (Pfalz).
