Punch Brothers are scheduled to perform at the Vilar Performing Arts Center (VPAC) in Beaver Creek, Colorado on October 13, 2026. The band is recognized for their innovative approach to bluegrass and acoustic music, blending traditional instrumentation with elements of jazz, classical, and progressive rock. Formed in 2006, Punch Brothers features musicians Chris Thile on mandolin, Noam Pikelny on banjo, Gabe Witcher on fiddle, Paul Kowert on bass, and Chris Eldridge on guitar. Their compositions are known for complex arrangements, virtuosic playing, and lyrical depth.
The Vilar Performing Arts Center opened in December 2002 as a gift to the Vail Valley from Ludwig and Elaine Horvath. It’s located within the Beaver Creek Resort and functions as a multi-purpose venue hosting a variety of performances including concerts, dance performances, theatrical productions and film screenings. The VPAC has a seating capacity of approximately 530 and is designed to provide intimate viewing experiences. It is a significant cultural hub for the region, attracting nationally and internationally recognized artists. The center underwent renovations in 2019 to enhance both audience experience and technical capabilities.
