Experience Punch Brothers live on November 15th

Punch Brothers are scheduled to perform at the University at Buffalo Center for the Arts – Mainstage Theatre in Buffalo, New York on November 15, 2026. The band is recognized for their innovative approach to bluegrass and acoustic music, blending traditional instrumentation with elements of jazz, classical, and progressive rock. Formed in 2006, Punch Brothers features Chris Thile on mandolin, Noam Pikelny on banjo, Gabe Witcher on fiddle, Paul Kowert on bass, and Chris Eldridge on guitar. They are known for complex arrangements, virtuosic playing, and thoughtful songwriting.

The University at Buffalo Center for the Arts opened in 1993 and serves as a hub for performing arts events on the UB North Campus. The Mainstage Theatre is the largest performance venue within the Center, seating approximately 1,000 people. Designed by architects Hammel Associates, it’s equipped with professional-grade sound and lighting systems suitable for a wide range of performances including theatre, dance, and musical concerts. The theatre regularly hosts touring productions alongside performances by UB’s own Department of Theatre & Dance and music ensembles.
