Punch Brothers are scheduled to perform at Le Bataclan in Paris, France on January 20, 2027. The band is a progressive bluegrass ensemble known for their virtuosic musicianship and innovative arrangements. While rooted in traditional bluegrass instrumentation – banjo, mandolin, guitar, fiddle, and bass – their music incorporates elements of jazz, classical, and folk, often featuring complex harmonies and intricate compositions. They are critically acclaimed for pushing the boundaries of the genre and their compelling live performances.

Le Bataclan is a historic music venue located on Boulevard Voltaire in Paris. Originally opened as a dance hall in 1864, it transitioned into a variety theatre before becoming primarily a concert hall. Throughout its history, it has hosted numerous internationally renowned artists across diverse genres. Tragically, the venue was the site of a major terrorist attack on November 13, 2015, during an Eagles of Death Metal concert. Following extensive renovations to reinforce security and restore its architectural features, Le Bataclan reopened in November 2016 and continues to operate as a significant cultural landmark and performance space in Paris. The venue holds approximately 1500 people.
