Experience Punch Brothers live on October 11th

Punch Brothers will perform at the KiMo Theater in Albuquerque, New Mexico on October 11, 2026. The band is recognized for their progressive bluegrass and new acoustic music, blending elements of jazz, classical, and folk traditions with virtuosic instrumental performance and complex vocal harmonies. Formed in 2006, the group features Chris Thile on mandolin, Noam Pikelny on banjo, Victor Wooten on bass, Gabe Witcher on fiddle, and Chris Eldridge on guitar. They are known for both original compositions and innovative reinterpretations of existing material.

The KiMo Theater opened in 1927 as a lavish movie palace designed by architect Carl E. Sorensen in the Pueblo Deco style. It was originally part of a chain owned by Karl Kimo Williams. Following a period of decline and closure in the 1980s due to structural issues, the theater underwent extensive restoration funded by a city bond issue and reopened in 2000. Today, it operates as a performing arts center hosting a diverse range of events including concerts, theatrical productions, films, and community gatherings.
