Punch Brothers will be performing at the Keswick Theatre in Glenside, Pennsylvania on November 5, 2026. The band is recognized for their innovative approach to bluegrass music, blending traditional instrumentation with elements of jazz, classical, and progressive rock. Formed in 2006, Punch Brothers features Chris Thile on mandolin, alongside Noam Pikelny on banjo, Gabe Witcher on fiddle/violin, Paul Kowert on bass, and Chris Eldridge on guitar. Their compositions are characterized by complex arrangements, virtuosic playing, and thoughtful lyrical content.
The Keswick Theatre originally opened in 1928 as a movie palace designed by Horace Trumbauer, known for his work on estates along Philadelphia’s Main Line and buildings at Princeton University. It operated primarily as a cinema for several decades before transitioning to a performing arts venue in 1981. The theatre underwent significant restoration in 2002, preserving its historic architectural details while upgrading its technical capabilities. It is now a popular location for concerts, comedy shows, and other live events with a seating capacity of approximately 1,300.
